Internet Fundraising Organization

January 30th, 2011

Are you thinking about starting an Internet Fundraising Organization? That’s a great idea. With some creativity, you have the opportunity to raise unlimited funds for your cause.

Many nonprofit organizations use the internet as their primary fundraising vehicle. It has proved very lucrative for them also. Just by the very fact that more people are online dramatically increases your opportunities at fundraising.

Consider these few advantages of doing your fundraising business in cyberspace.

o Lightening quick results

With appeals via email the response is almost immediate. Sure, the most you’d have to wait is 2 days for a response. However, when compared with the postal appeal (which could take weeks/months) the email route is immediate.

Email allows you to track and immediately adjust a sputtering campaign. You can also tweak a good campaign into a better one.

Receiving funds online is vastly different from receiving a check in the mail. The process is like night and day. Online funds are not promises. They are promises delivered!

o Your Internet Fundraising Organization Hard Up For Quick Funds?

Need a quick injection of cash? Online is the place to get it. There may have been a bad fire or accident and you need immediate cash to respond. You may not have time to put together a fundraising campaign. Email allows you the luxury of responding to the crisis almost immediately.

o Cuts Costs

The mailing and marketing of brochures and pamphlets is costly. Getting them specially made up for each event can hurt the pocketbook. Online email has a tremendous two-pronged positive effect.

1) eMail allows you to make a direct and quick appeal. Depending on your networking skills and contacts, email can give you direct access to the decision-makers.

2) You can use email to build relationships during non-crisis periods. This is a very important point. Communicating with the decision-makers on a consistent basis is vital to building relationships for fundraising efforts.

Taking full advantage of online fundraising will open new vistas for your Internet Fundraising Organization. You can easily incorporate into your online strategies building an email list, developing relationships, responding quickly to a crisis and cutting campaign costs. Cyberspace offers unlimited opportunities for your fundraising efforts.

Candle Making For Fun or Profit

January 30th, 2011

Since the early 1960’s candle making has been recognized as an inspirational craft. Candle making is highly versatile and encompasses unlimited opportunities for creativity. Making them is so easy by using your imagination and the right supplies. It is one of the most rewarding skills anybody can train themselves to do. Now, before you invest a lot of money in materials, you might want to make sure that candle making is the hobby for you. Candle making is a fun and easy to learn activity that the whole family can enjoy.

The history of making candles goes back hundreds of years and its origin does not belong to any one country. Candles have been used through out history to light up night time activities.

The key to successful candle making is preparation and supplies. Paraffin wax is one of the most commonly used waxes for candles, however soy wax is becoming popular today because of its ease of use, low pour temperature, and its ability to hold a fragrance. Soy wax is available in flakes to make it easy to use and a lot of wax manufacturing companies are now providing “beads” or shredded wax for ease of use. Fragrance oil is one of the most important aspects of candle making and can be one of the most expensive supplies, so shop around for the best prices. Molds can tend to get expensive, but by using a little creativity and ingenuity, almost anything, including a milk carton, can be used as a mold. Don’t forget about wicks! Check with individual suppliers or craft stores for a wide variety of wick types and sizes, and you’ll be sure to find the right one for your project.

You can make your own candles at a fraction of the cost of store-bought candles and while they can be made at a relatively low cost, it can be a time-consuming process when you’re making candles one at a time. If you plan on using beeswax to make your candles with, keep in mind that the cost of beeswax can be 10 times the cost of paraffin. Soy wax can be an inexpensive alternative if you’re looking for a natural wax. If you plan on selling your candles, you can find supplies in online stores that sometimes have better prices than craft stores. You will need to take into consideration the cost of shipping added to the price of the supplies to determine if you are truly saving money by shopping online. There are online wholesalers who will allow you to purchase products at below retail price without being a business however they usually have a minimum purchase amount you must make in order to get the wholesale price. Do a search online and shop around to find the best prices for your supplies.

The world of candle making is never perfect and the real fun lies in the experimentation. Candle making is a highly versatile craft, and one that can bring unlimited opportunities for creativity. Home candle making is easy when you start with all of the ingredients and easy-to-follow instructions, and while it can be fun, it can also bring you extra income if you decide to sell your creations. With this bit of information, you should now be able to determine whether or not candle making is for you and keep in mind that while other crafts may rise and fall in popularity, candle making is here to stay.

How to Attract Women – Three Tips on How to Talk With Women

January 29th, 2011

One of the most important things in dating is the art of conversation. You either have it or don’t. Do you know how to talk to women? If yes, unlimited opportunities are within your reach. If not, read on to know what to do.

Women can be very intimidating to men, especially at the first moments of your encounter.

One of the things most men aren’t comfortable with is “talking with women”. In other words: how they should behave with her when talking to her and what subject they can discuss with her.

You are now going to discover my three most important tips on the art of conversation with women.

The first tip is: convince her that you are the prize

This alone can change your dating life dramatically to the better. If you have to develop one skill with women, let it be this one.

How do you convince her that you are the prize?

Most men will do the opposite thing, they will try all their best to convince the woman that she is the real prize in their lives, they tell her this trough compliments and they buy her gifts or even pay for her constantly.

You have to be different; you must convey in your talk that you are the most valuable men she can ever find.

You convey this to her in an indirect manner.

For example, when you are talking to her, give her hints that you are a very busy and important person and she is very lucky to meet you. When she is laughing at something you said, Tell her that your time is very valuable and next time, she must bring her credit card with her, you are going to charge her a lot for the good times she is having with you. If she looks at you in a nice way, tell her that she is looking at you like a stalker or “you are so in love with me, which is totally normal, I know, I’m very irresistible”…

Don’t forget that your body language is very important; say this in a confident manner.

Tip number two is: be playful

One of The greatest attraction killers is being serious.

If you don’t have a sharp sense of humor, make it a priority to develop it, otherwise your dating life is done.

Women love a good sense of humor; it’s the ultimate aphrodisiac for women. Use this to attract her, don’t ever be serious with her when you are on a date, there are lots of occasions to be serious and dating isn’t one of them.

You become funny with women by being playful, if she wants something from you, a glass of water, a piece of bread…, tell her that she must fight to the death to win it and start a sword fight with her using pens, french-fries… if she asks you to do her a favor, tell her that you must be paired first then is she asks you what’s your pay, tell her that she knows exactly what do you want, then tell her that you were referring to money and that she has a dirty mind…

These are only a couple of example, use your imagination.

These are the most memorable moments for her; make yourself stand from the crowd. Most people are boring to death, don’t be.

Tip number three is: be indirect

Never answer her questions directly, unless you are going to say no. use this all the time.

For example, she may ask you what you do for a living, the boring answer is: I’m an accountant. The exiting answer would be: I am an executive dogs nail painter. She will know that you are messing with her and she is certainly going to ask you again to test your confidence, don’t give her a direct answer and to know more on the subject of humor and dating, visit my website.
